David Pollard


David PollardDavid Pollard studied at the University of Oklahoma (1978 - 1982) where he got a BA in polical science and business, and in at the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium, where he got his Masters in European Affairs.
He worked for ING from 2000 to 2009, first as head of International Communications, later as Head of European Affairs.
David Pollard was heavily involved in ING’s diversity program. He was Global Chairman and founder of ING’s LGBT global network “Gala”, consisting of around 1200 members in 27 countries in 2009. His 15 years career at ING spanned a number of responsibilities including the creation and management of ING's European affairs department which dealt with EU legislation.
David Pollard is managing director of Community to Community advertising (C2C). The company helps diverse communities work together to understand each other's goals and aspirations, thereby achieving mutually beneficially results.
He is also co-founder and former vice chair of the /Workplace Pride Foundation (formerly: Company Pride Platform) which represents the LGBT networks of 32 major multinationals and governmental organisations and strives for a greater visibility and working environments for LGBT people internationally.
David lives in Amsterdam with his husband.
